Elohai

The Upper Room.

In Acts 1 the first believers waited together in an upper room, in one accord, in prayer. Elohai gives a family one of those.

Add the people you pray for: a first name, who they are to you, and their number if you want to invite them. The invitation is a text message from your own phone, in your own words, with a link. When they join, they choose what to be called, and you are in the same room.

What you see of each other is deliberately small: a name, and that they prayed for you today. What you write, what you check in, what you pray in your own words: none of that leaves your phone and your account. A father can pray for a daughter every night for a year, and she will know only that he did.

When you pray for someone in the room, their name is woven into the prayer, and their light sits beside yours on the screen. Later, the room will be able to pray as one: one voice guiding, everyone present, and one shared Amen.
